You will learn some great things in this book, such as the basics of running a successful business, time management, and how to balance work and home life, which is helpful for women and a vital part of any successful business. Perhaps that's what the other books in this series are for? In some ways it was better than I expected. It is certainly a book that will get you motivated! I love the profiles of successful women. I found them to be very inspirational and I got a lot of really great ideas from them. Examples of profiles included in this book include a certified birth doula, the owner of a sleepware company, a boutique owner, a "professional bargain hunter", a business coach, a marketing professional, and a freelance writer.

Although I have no plans to do any of these things, I loved hearing the stories of these women and how they overcame things like layoffs, health issues, family problems, lack of money, and all the little and big things we all face in our day-to-day lives in order to create their own successful businesses.

The hardest part of my home busines was marketing it. I knew I couldn't do anything like radio or TV ads, the Internet seemed to be reaching a world-wide audience when I thought my items should be sold at local craft shows I sure had that wrong by the way!
