I was provided with excellent sales experience, customer service skills, leadership skills, good communication skills and was able to learn to work as part of a team. Management was always polite, caring and ran the store well.

The hardest part of the job was the rush hours and the best was working in a friendly, caring environment where everyone got along.

Toys R Us was great place to work, as all employees and managers were friendly, supportive and made me feel welcome and happy at work. Everyone would help one another which made work far more enjoyable and easy, no matter how busy it would get. A typical day at Toys R Us is, going in 10 minutes early, clocking in then going out to the register. During my time there i have learnt exceptional customer service skills, how to manage my time efficiently, and to work well under pressure as well as grow my communication skills.

The culture of the workplace is exceptional because you grow a strong bond with the other employees and the management as well. The managers are outstanding as they are always there for their employees whether they are having troubles with a task at work or dealing with something personal in their everyday life. The hardest part of the job, or any job for that matter, is when you receive abusive customers, which is a minority of people. At Toys R Us, these customers visited the store more during Christmas season and recently when we began shutting down the stores.

During these times, it is important to stay calm, help the customer if you can, get a manager and call security if necessary. The best part of the job is the environment and knowing you're going to a job where you can help customers and a company achieve sales goals.

That in itself is rewarding and has to be the most enjoyable part of any job. Was only during christmas period. I had fun, made many friends and was happy learning new things. The managers were quite friendly and were always willing to help me out when I needed it.

Fun and new things everyday. Great place for starting out. Management can pretty much make or break the team, but for the most part, have had pretty good management experiences! The team is like a family, so it's a pretty good environment to work in. Serving customers is a breeze with the amount of support offered. If you are unsure of a of what a customer needs a simple phone call can connect you with another staff member who is more than happy to come and assist you.

The management team were highly flexible with staff members with their commitments outside of work. The most enjoyable part of the job was coming to work each day surrounded by some of the nicest people you could meet from the new person who had been recently hired to the store manager who had several years under their belt. Fantastic culture, with fun products. My typical day involves processing online orders , picking and packing, merchandising, serving customers, point of sale, filling, customer service, and many other duties.

Our culture was fantastic, always lots of fun, and great to be there every day. The hardest part of the job was when we didn't have the toy a child wanted, but on the upside the best was definitely seeing a smile on a Childs face when they found the toy they wanted! I will definitely miss ToysR US. Great work environment thanks to staff. While the work may be average at times its the people you get to work with that make it one of the best places ive ever worked, very sad its closing down.

Working at Toys 'R' Us has been the best experience I have ever had. All team members had tasks to complete and were respectful towards all customers. The management was very professional and enjoyable to work with.
