Transcom Employee Reviews

Making sure my agents were looked after. Avoid this company at all costs! Busy company with good clients, management is a bit stressed and might not respond as fast as possible to employee requirements, they do loose a lot of people every day. During production you will feel differently. Working from home is great but the way they schedule you feels like you are working all day.

Transcom is the worst at home company I have worked for. The pay is not comparable to the other work from home jobs that do the same technical support job - /5().

I have been working at Transcom WorldWide full-time Pros everything is a pro for this company. Cons there is nothing bad about working for this company.

Transcom WorldWide Have you worked here? Application I applied online. Interview There wasn't really an interview. Interview Questions I was asked about my work experience and told about the expectations of the position.

The call went fairly fast and I was surprised. This was the fastest call I ever been on in terms of a phone "interview". T2 should be applied for and when an employee expresses concern and tells you that they are not ready they should NOT be forced to move up the said ladder for next to no increase in pay. Pushed into management rather you're, ready or not, stressful, unorganized. Transcom will suck your life blood. Stay away from this company at all costs!

They constantly degrade you and nit pick. They micro manage their micro managing. Pay is horrible and they nit pick so much that their employees end up on anti-anxiety drugs. Avoid this company at all costs! The State of California will not allow them to do business in their state that should tell you something.

The State of Nevada will allow anyone to do business there! That is why they are there. Transom Work From Home Review. Great company but work hrs horrible do not have time for personal life. Trainers need more training. Have the ability to work from home is great. Great to work from home with, but no advancement. This company has some issues with high turnover rates.

There are many policies in place that do not allow you to move. QA is hired from overseas and their QA evaluators have some serious issues understanding call flow.

The management, from top to bottom, proved to be very dishonest to me. I was very disappointment as I was given long spills about them only promoting internally. I found out this was not the case when I was mentoring people that had just been hired from outside of the company for positions that we applied for.

This is a legit company that does have jobs. Manager making a hostile workplace because he was lying and not showing up to work. Benefits were not enough, training department didnt have the supplies they needed. Apply at convergys instead. They sell you a big dream in the beginning but never follow through. They promised you a raise after 90 days but you never receive it. However after 90 days they add on to your position but not your pay. You start off as an iOS advisor but they move you up to Mac no pay increase.

They offer health dental and vision but they health benefits are they expensive. You regularly have to do training and take test at the end of each module if you fail the tests you are written up. So far so good. I have been working at home with Transcom for 4 months , and honestly I really enjoy it , I get to work from the comfort of my home and I get to save money in gas because I don't have a commute every morning , a typical day at work for me consist of logging into my phone by 9 to start my shift.

I work with customers who have technical issues with their iPhones , iPads, iPods and MAC's , most of the customers are really nice. Of course you have some that call in because they are frustrated with the situation and not you , but if you can throw a good empathy statement in you are usually able to get them to relax so that you can help them resolve their issue. If you get on with Transcom, you are considered an employee, not an independent contractor. This means all your training time will be paid, although I am not seeing anything on their website about more benefits.

Transcom prefers if you've had some type of customer service experience before. As far as your education is concerned, you need to have at minimum a high school diploma.

This company will not have openings in every state. I am having difficulty finding a list of states they are currently hiring in, but if you apply it should tell you whether or not you are eligible depending on where you live. Transcom does not allow Macs and you must have an approved wired headset. You can find plenty of acceptable and affordable headsets on Amazon , but you'll have to get approval from Transcom prior to using the one you select. You will have a set schedule every week.

They do not have a system where you log in and just grab hours where you can. This may be good or bad just depending on you.

The set schedule won't allow much room for flexibility, but you would always know exactly when you'd be working. You will most likely be working more than 30 hours per week if you are hired, five days per week.

The application process involves first filling out your basic information and checking your computer and internet speed to make sure they are up to par. Then, you'll have to do some online assessments. After that, you might get an interview with a recruiter.

If you're given an offer, you'll have to agree to a criminal background check and possibly a drug screen and credit check, too, just depending on the client you're handling calls for. It could take some time after your interview for a training class to come open, so keep that in mind if you're hired.
