There are remote customer service jobs that pay better and require less information to know. Worked here for a while and found the facilities to be lacking and somewhat unclean. Simply a workplace with great people to work with. The management is very committed and a true example. Can be hard on you if you don't like sitting down for long periods of time. I use this job while I do other things on the side and get my freelancing business off the ground. After many company changes within a short time chaos came about and the company seem to not regain its balance.

I learned alot from convergys, i learned how to multi- task very well, time management, and to document detailed notation of every call, management was unprofessional and uncaring, while co workers 90 percent of them were very nice people and fun to work with. The most enjoyable part of the job, was when i was working on the Nike account, learning the history of NIke and learning more about the products i was selling.
Cool people and a lot to learn and work on like every where else there are troublesome there are some people that bring you down. Good place to work for good money most of the people are really cool and honest and are willing to help.
You move up fretty fast if you have the ability. Can be hard on you if you don't like sitting down for long periods of time. It is pretty easy work they give more than enough tools to succeed. Sometimes the system gives problems but that's expected. Company was ok just to far and the pay was not great, sometime fun environment at times commission was ok.. Received in-bound calls from the U. The manager's were very well trained, and helpful.
I learned data-entre and communication skills. Fun place to work. Stressful but I loved the job. Since I left the pay scale has been changed for bonuses. I'm unsure if the pay scale would be to my benefit now. There isn't much I can remember about convergy's. I worked there over 6 years ago.
There is a high turn around rate. The job was stressful but became easier. High School all over again. Management is unprofessional om is unprofessional very bad environment to work in a lot of drama for a lot of yelling on the floor I'm very strict on your performance and sales not enough time teaching sales to agents who have never sold.
Management had their favorites and only they would advance. Dont work at pueblo convergys! This place is terrible! Management is terrible for Anthem side. Team Leaders are lazy and dont know answers when you ask for help. They want you to work overtime but dont show appreciation. Oh and they give you rubber ducks when you do something positive!
Why do adults need rubber ducks?! Dont work here they say they are "family friendly" however when you need time off for your children they throw a fit and make you feel guilty for taking the time off. Management and Team Leaders are what make this place terrible! Call volume is high so your always on calls but thats the point of a call center.
They want you to have empathy with members however they dont show employees empathy! People who work there are nice and not really an issue however those who have worked there for a long time have those "high school cliques" so they tend to be snotty and rude! But for the most part all representatives are nice and understand how stressful the job is! They dont allow cell phones on the floor however if your in one of those "cliques" and a supervisor sees you they wont tell you anything.
So if your cool with certain team leaders they allow you to get away with things that others cant. This place is full of drama! And you cant advance at this place, There is no room and if you are a good candidate for a better placement it comes down to who they like more. So to better say " its not what you know, its who you know"! They will look for any excuse to let you go!
Be careful with these people! You're completing a workbook either by yourself or in groups and the trainer rushes through the workbook one time before moving onto something else. If you ask to go over something again, you get put on the spot. Unless you work for Convergy's during a better project, this should not be seen as a permanent multi-year thing I use this job while I do other things on the side and get my freelancing business off the ground.
As soon as that is up and running and I start getting clients, I'll prepare my exit. This is a 6 month - 1 year job IMHO. Increase hourly wages and create a better training system. Great Place, Great People. Loved this job and its flexibility. Work at home opportunities. Closing this location soon.
To low of unemployment rate here. The ease of Working from home, no land line phone needed , all work is done via computer and voip. You only need internet. Weird scheduling, weird hours, you work more then what your paid for. The work in general sucks, the training is a pain in the butt. Remote Work from home. M-F shifts and fixed schedules.
