If you do not meet or exceed the performance requirements, you will be put in outbound and then let go.
One of the first things you should know about eDegree Advisor, is that while it is a legit way to make money from your home, it is a phone job so if you don’t like dealing with people and trying to convince them to sign up for programs, this may not be a ideal opportunity for you.
What is it like to work at eDegree Advisor?
I hated that I had to repeatedly make follow up calls to people who really weren't interested in going back to school and really wanted the calls to stop, and that I had to force them to take the time to do a school search when they really weren't interested, only for them to get more phone calls from schools they didn't really want to attend.
The best thing is that they are very specific and clear about how to do all of the required technical setup. The worst thing is that they pay you by minute on the phone, not by hour worked, so when you have to do things that involve logging off the phone, you're not getting paid even though you're still doing work for the company. This place is scamming people after they asked not to be called. Most of these people are looking for jobs not to go back to school! Our job was basically to force them go back to school.
Flexible scheduled, easy to use portal, Team leads that help you get situated. The hours you pick you work them because it is what you picked. Can't add or take away. After thirty minutes on phone have to punch out and get back on line whether you done calls or not so it can calculate your time.

During the process, I was thoroughly advised of what to expect, if I had passed the interview process I would receive an e-mail with instructions on completing online assessments to determine my computer and internet skills.
I received immediate notices of my scores. The next business day, I received a very welcoming e-mail advising me that I was being offered the position. The e-mail included detailed information regarding time selections; the time to allow for orientation and a reminder of what would be needed computer equipment.
